30th January 2020: A case of Newcastle Disease outbreak in chicken is reported in Gomchula Village under Shompangkha Gewog in Sarpang Dzongkhag on 30th January 2020.
The outbreak has affected four households with reported cases in 52 birds out of which, 29 has died. The DVH in Sarpang and TVH&SL, Gelephu are currently undertaking strict control measures to to curtail the outbreak and prevent further spread.
