A 14 Days “Refresher Course on Artificial Insemination (AI) and Reproductive Biotechnology” is currently underway for the Livestock Extension Staff in east-central region. The refresher course is organized with the main objectives to enhance cattle breeding program through AI intensification activity and update knowledge and skills of the field staff in latest reproductive biotechnologies.
The refresher course commenced from 18th December 2019 and will end on 31st December 2019. It is being attended by 15 participants from Zhemgang, Trongsa and Bumthang Dzongkhags and similar refresher course will be conducted in Sarpang Dzongkhag too.
The refresher course is being conducted in RLDC, Zhemgang through RDCCRP funding and is jointly organized by National Dairy Research & Development Centre (NDRDC), Yusipang and Regional Livestock Development Centre (RLDC), Zhemgang.
