ecRLDC welcomed and congratulated Mr. Kencho Rinzin, FFO and Mr. Tshering Tobgay, LPO working under RLDC, Zhemgang for successfully completing the 21 days 38th Batch De-suung Training in Tenchholing and for being the first De-Suung volunteers for ecRLDC. A modest khadhar offering and a tea party was organized for making ecRLDC a part of De-Suung and offer our deepest gratitude to His Majesty The Fifth Druk Gyalpo for initiating De-Suung program in the country.

De-Suung “Guardians of Peace” is a noble initiative envisioned by His Majesty and was first launched on 14th February 2011 at Tenchholing in Wangduephodrang.
The programme was initiated with a mission in readying and empowering every eligible citizen to play their role in the nation building through value based training and volunteer programme that inculcates a sense of responsibility, cooperation, volunteerism and leadership guided by the honour code.
The vision of the programme is to promote peace, harmony and unity through a spirit of camaraderie, volunteerism and cooperation in the nation.
De-Suungs have played a vital role within and outside the country till now and the orange uniforms of the De-Suungs have become synonymous with solidarity and assistance.
