This is to inform the general public that the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the new Coronavirus outbreak, a public health emergency of International Concern.
In line with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan vide notification No. PPD/PPMS-25/2019-2020 dated 30th January 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests would like to inform the general public not to import and consume food items, especially raw meat, fresh fruits and vegetables from unidentified sources across the border as the source of the virus is not established.
